Pastor Daryl R. Napper, Sr.

Pastor Daryl R. Napper, Sr. was born and raised in Winston‑Salem, North Carolina, and is the son of the late Constance Daniels. He is joyfully married to his college sweetheart, DiNina Stephens Napper. Together they are the proud parents of four children: Daryl Jr., DeQuan, Destiny, and Daniel.

Pastor Napper is a graduate of Winston‑Salem State University, where he majored in Economics, and he continued his theological studies at Shaw University. He was later awarded an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Living Epistle Bible College in Greensboro, North Carolina.

He accepted his call to the ministry in April 1999 and preached his initial sermon at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Winston‑Salem under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Samuel J. Cornelius. He was ordained in July 2000 by the High Point Educational and Missionary Baptist Association, Inc. With a heart especially attuned to the next generation, Pastor Napper and his wife faithfully served as directors of youth and children’s ministries. He also contributed to the wider Baptist community through his service on the General Baptist State Convention’s Evangelism Committee.

Pastor Napper previously served as the pastor of New Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro for more than a decade. During his tenure, he helped restore the church’s presence in the community and led a remarkable season of growth, increasing membership from approximately 30 to 350 within six years. Under his leadership, the church campus underwent significant improvements, including new carpeting, padded pews, fresh paint, and the addition of a sound room. He later served as pastor of Living Water Baptist Church in High Point for three years before being called to shepherd First Baptist Church in Lexington. He now serves as the pastor of Beulah Baptist Church in his hometown of Winston‑Salem.

His ministry is marked by a desire to inspire others to discover their God‑given purpose and to use their gifts in service to Christ. He strives to live in such a way that others may see the work of God through him and give glory to Jesus Christ.
